There's a time to laugh and a time to blog on your iTouch!
I just remembered that I had written some great stuff on my iTouch while experiencing sleep challenges, travelling homeward, on the Great Indonesian Adventure.... Warning: it's sharing time!
Feb 21/10
So now it is 4:52 a.m. pacific standard time. Oh please, SOMEBODY tell me that the spring ahead clock time change isn't happening this year. I just want to settle into the current time. I wonder if Mork felt like this ? Now that would be a challenging time change!
Whew! I've got to be a little more careful with memory joggers like that one! Pretty soon everyone will know that I have just celebrated the halfway mark to the 69th anniversary of my 21st birthday! Yeah, you read that right! To go big or go home fits across the board in my personal scrabble game... aka LIFE!
A little later on...
Okay new twist on an old thought....Has anyone else ever wondered if the whole thing with so many babies being up in the middle of the night or just plain sleeping at odd hours, has this got anything to do with jetlag? Seriously! WE go through it all the time (jetlag) but we understand WHY it is happening, whereas babies don't have a clue! Come on now, you have never thought of this? It could totally happen. We don't actually know what time clock they are on before they get delivered rather abruptly into 'our time' zone. So now I am thinking that maybe I don't really have jet lag. Just because I have been wide awake since 1 a.m. and it is now shortly past 6 a.m. (which is really quite helpful to my writing endeavors because there are so few distractions at this hour!) Maybe what is really happening is that I am awake sympathetically with the babies out there who really are Jet Lagged!
Isn't it helpful to discover reasonable answers to mind bending queries? It can really help me to sleep at night!

User Friendly ...or so they say...
It is late - or at least by tomorrow morning, when the alarm goes off rather rudely, it will be a time of quick reflection for me. That as opposed to blogging, I should have gone to bed. Oh well!
I was trying to load photos onto my itouch, to take with me to Coombs tomorrow. Gonna visit a friend I have not seen for far too long. I wanted to show her some of the photos from my trip to Indonesia. (oh for those of you who read this somewhat regularly, the jet lag is long gone but the Spring Ahead time change has nailed me full on!)
google is user friendly, or at least it seems to be... most of the time, when I find what I want, and it is in laymans terms.
Have you ever googled, "put photos from iMac onto iTouch"? well, 479,653,219 items flashed up. Guess how many I need? Ya! ONE!
Sooooooooooooo, after trying to briefly scan over the first list on the first page in an effort to speed up the process ~ uh..... did I mention yet that I am NOT a techy? and that all things technical have the ability to cause me to talk to myself much more than usual, and cause those around me to be gravely concerned? Well, it is true. Give me mechanical challenge any day.
Please include brightly coloured photos with very simple instruction for anything technical.
After many attempts to research and perform technical detail throughout my short life, I already knew this would be a huge bonus if I actually got it to work. Thankfully my daughter overheard me talking to myself, and she wasn't tucked in for the night yet. Oh the beauty of having a somewhat tech-savvy grade 12 student living in my home :)
She got me started, I got me 88% of the way there, I did manage to get 371 photos loaded, unfortunately for my home computer I tried so many little ideas, that I think I have duplicates of duplicates of folders of duplicates in folders hidden in folders way far back into the brain section. Are you following me? I got lost at "home computer"!
So the short version of my fairly successful albiet challenging evening is that I have photos to take to Coombs. If you ever want to"put photos from iMac onto iTouch" call me. I may not be able to help you but you will have my full support! I will feel your pain!
Does any one know if Coombs is even open in March? LOL! Might have been a good idea to check that out before planning the date! At any rate, it's gonna be a great day.
